Where are these products made?
Our entire range is carefully and consciously manufactured in our HACCP food facility located in Surat Thani, Southern Thailand. This ensures we provide the most authentic taste available on the market blended and bottled using a globally recognised approach to food safety that identifies, evaluates and controls biological, chemical and physical hazards throughout the production process - from raw material handling to manufacturing and distribution.
I don't eat any animal product. Are these products suitable for me?
Yes. We guarantee that there is no animal product contamination in our range. Our manufacturing facility and products are Vegan Certified.
I have a nut allergy. Can I safely consume these products?
Yes. No traces of nuts will ever be present in our products. Nuts are never present in our HACCP food facility.
Where does the money from my purchase go?
All money you pay for our products is reinvested - a community centre in Chiang Rai which will be used by the local community, a sustainable eco BnB in Chiang Rai where you can stay, given to the farmers to help maintain their traditional subsistence farming methods and lifestyles, and into new products for you!
Can I buy these products in person?
Our primary platform for you to purchase our products is this website. However, you can find us at farmer and community markets in NSW and Victoria (follow us on socials for updates or contact us through our website). We are also always looking for and hoping to secure appropriate stockists (e.g. health food stores, local organic grocers and vegan shops - let us know if you have any suggestions!).
I have heard these products are nutritionist approved. What does this mean?
“Nutritionist approved” means that a qualified Nutritionist has reviewed the product’s ingredients, nutritional profile, and overall formulation, and considers it a suitable option within a balanced diet. The owner is herself a qualified Nutritionist!
This typically involves assessing things like ingredient quality, nutrient content and whether the product aligns with general healthy eating guidelines. It’s important to note that this doesn’t mean the product is “perfect” or suitable for every individual, but rather that it meets a standard considered appropriate by an expert.
Never hesitate to contact us if you have a health and nutrition question.
Do I have to use these products for curries only?
No. While our range will ensure you have the most delicious and nutritious Thai curries at home, you can use our products as an ingredient or rub in any cooking you like! The recipe on our Chilli Jam is for Thai Tom Yum soup. See here for some recipe suggestions: Recipes 𓌉◯𓇋 – The Heart Of Kindness
Once opened, how long will these products last?
To be extra cautious we advise a two-year product life once opened and when stored in the fridge. However our testing has proven that the products safely last much longer without any compromise to taste.
Why do you use non-GMO Rice Bran Oil in some of the pastes?
Traditionally, and in almost all Thai restaurants in Australia, seed oils will be used in Thai cooking. For people in Thailand, seed oils are typically used out of necessity due to cheap cost and wide availability, while for Thai restaurants in Australia seed oils help keep overhead costs down. These oils are an ingredient in Panang, Massaman and Chilli Jam products (Red and Green pastes do not need to include oil unless producers are using seed oils to make manufacturing cheaper).
We use non-GMO Rice Bran Oil in Panang, Massaman and Chilli Jam as it remains stable at high cooking temperatures, and because it offers a naturally balanced fat profile, including beneficial monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, and antioxidants like vitamin E, making it a more nourishing and wholesome choice for cooking. We spare no cost to ensure the nutrition profile of our product range.
